National Bicentennial Farm~ Designated in 1988 ~
In 1765 Robert Bell immigrated from Scotland and founded Tide Mill Farms, which is the land base of Tide Mill Enterprises (TME) in Edmunds, Maine.  The Bell family has lived and worked on the fields and forests of the coastal farm continuously since that time.

In 2000, seventh-generation brothers Robert Bell and Terry Bell founded Tide Mill Enterprises, comprised of two dynamic and diverse family-owned businesses: forest management wood harvesting, and blueberry land management and harvesting.

Robert and Terry, each have over thirty-five years of experience in all facets of the forest industry with a focus on sustainability and stewardship of the land.
Tide Mill Enterprises also manages 430 acres of blueberry land, with Integrated Pest Management playing a key role in the health and prosperity of the fields.
